About Us

Two friends brought together by one company, over ten years

Tidy Haus has been around in some form for about ten years. David built the original version — an in-home and digital organizing practice — well before COVID. When the pandemic hit, he pivoted hard into World Back To Work (WBTW), an on-site enterprise COVID testing company. Robert was his business partner there. WBTW grew, weathered the pandemic, and eventually evolved into Diagnostic.ly — the diagnostic-testing company David still runs today.

Three and a half years ago, as restrictions eased and Robert was setting up for a new gig, he asked David for help untangling his digital life. David — already Robert’s business partner from WBTW — said yes. What started as a favor turned into something bigger. David saw what was possible, proposed they restart digital organizing together, and they became 50/50 partners in Tidy Haus. That partnership is the company today.

We’ve worked with more than 2,300 clients across 100+ industries since. We’re proud digital organizing nerds — empathetic, detail-driven, and committed to building simple, sustainable systems that make technology feel manageable again.

I’m David. I’m a 50/50 partner at Tidy Haus.

Before COVID, I ran an in-home and digital organizing business — the predecessor to Tidy Haus. When the pandemic hit, I pivoted entirely into World Back To Work (WBTW), an on-site enterprise COVID testing company. Robert was my business partner there. WBTW grew during the pandemic and eventually evolved into Diagnostic.ly, the diagnostic testing business I still run today.

Three and a half years ago, as restrictions eased, Robert came to me needing help getting his digital life in order for a new gig. We’d already built one company together by then; helping him with his files was supposed to be a favor. He saw what was possible and asked me to restart digital organizing with him as a 50/50 partner. I said yes for two reasons: the problem space had only worsened during the pandemic, and Robert had already proven himself to be a partner.

My role on paper is business development and sales. In practice, I spend most of my time on the AI platform we’re building — the next-generation engine behind Tidy Haus’s digital organizing tools. It’s the most interesting engineering work I’ve done in years.

I’m Robert. I run the day-to-day at Tidy Haus.

David and I had been business partners through World Back To Work (WBTW) — the onsite enterprise COVID testing company we built together during the pandemic, which eventually became his current company, Diagnostic.ly. When restrictions started easing, and I was setting up for a new gig, my files were a disaster. He was the obvious person to call. What was supposed to be a quick favor turned into something much bigger — I saw what he’d built around digital organizing before COVID, and I asked him to restart it with me as a partner. He said yes, and here we are.

The work suits me. I have low vision, which has shaped how I approach every system we build — step-by-step, predictable, designed for the brain and eyes you actually have, not the ones the software assumes. If a process doesn’t work for someone reading at 200% zoom, it doesn’t really work.

When I’m not running Tidy Haus, I’m cooking, listening to blues, and trying to convince my south-facing front yard to grow native plants in clay soil. Mostly losing that fight.

The Tidy Haus Story

How Tidy Haus got here.

Pre-Covid
Tidy Haus is launched

David builds the original Tidy Haus, a Southern California-based in-home and digital organizing practice — the predecessor to what Tidy Haus Digital Life is now.

2020
Covid rocks the world

Pandemic hits. David pivots quickly and ramps up the on-site enterprise COVID testing company, World Back To Work. Robert joins as a business partner. For logistical and safety reasons, Tidy Haus begins a brief hiatus.

Late 2022
Tidy Haus, round two

Covid ends! WBTW evolves into Diagnostic.ly. Robert and David develop a 50/50 partnership to restart digital organizing — and in year one, hit the 600+ clients served mark.

Today
Tidy Haus standing strong

Robert runs daily operations. David advises and serves as Systems Architect for the company, which has served 2,356+ clients across 100+ industries. Diagnostic.ly continues under David’s leadership, and Tidy Haus is set to launch its new AI platform in 2026.
